FOUNDATION history

The Zetas of Charlotte Benevolent Foundation (also referred to as the Zetas of Charlotte) was established in April 2001 by the Delta Zeta chapter.  It is a separate non-profit organization created to increase the capacity in which the chapter could provide assistance to the community.  The Zetas of Charlotte is a 501c(3) organization that fosters the ideals of service, scholarship, and unity among mankind.  Our mission is to implement cultural, educational, and civic activities to meet the all-encompassing needs of the Greater Charlotte community.  This includes the mind, body, and soul.

It is this mission that drives us to tirelessly share our time, compassion, and expertise with those in need and to form collaborative partnerships with other agencies and civic minded organizations to uplift humanity.  A few of our recent partnership endeavors include:

• AARP

• Adopt-a-Highway

• Adopt-a-School

• March of Dimes

• Sigmas of Charlotte

• The 50 Million Pound Challenge

• US Census Bureau

• Wells Fargo
