Each year, the Zetas of Charlotte make a financial contribution to help students achieve their academic dreams at colleges and universities primarily in the Carolinas.
In the past ten years we have awarded over $70,000 in college scholarships!
The Sarah Scott Schofield Scholarship
The Sarah Scott Schofield scholarship was established to recognize the achievements and potential of young women and to assist them financially with their pursuit of higher education. The scholarship has been named to commemorate Sarah Scott Schofield, a founder of the Delta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
Soror Schofield was a dedicated member who did much to help the sorority implement its founding principles. Several scholarships may be awarded each year.
- Application must be postmarked by April 30, 2010.
- Applicants selected to receive the scholarship will be chosen by May 4, 2010.
- Recipients will be posted on the Zetas of Charlotte web site by May 5, 2010.
