DELTA ZETA CHAPTER - CHARLOTTE, NC

A LIFETIME COMMITMENT FOR THE BETTERMENT OF OTHERS

ABOUT DELTA ZETA CHAPTER

President, Zetas of Charlotte

WELCOME!

Welcome to the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Delta Zeta Chapter website. We would like to thank you for taking the time to explore and learn more about our sorority and chapter.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 16, 1920 by five young women, Arizona Cleaver, Myrtle Tyler, Viola Tyler, Fannie Pettie and Pearl Neal, who are collectively known as the “Five Pearls.” It was founded on the principles of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.  Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is a community-conscious, action-oriented organization. Our purpose is to help the community through various service initiatives.

The Delta Zeta Chapter was founded in 1934 in Charlotte, North Carolina and has supported the community for over 80 years.  The chapter is comprised of a group of women who have made the lifetime commitment to serve others, enrich the lives of constituents in the community, and serve as a model of Finer Womanhood in the world. Delta Zeta is a robust and historic chapter with a membership that is willing to lead and give of their talents, time, and treasure.

To support its work, the Delta Zeta Chapter established a non-profit called the Zetas of Charlotte Benevolent Foundation. The foundation was created to provide us with additional opportunities to support the needs of the community we serve.
